My Latest Bloodwork After 13 Years Being Enhanced: Tony Huge’s Video Guide

Table of Contents

Tony Huge has been on growth hormone and MK-677, in one form or another, for 13 years, and he has been told the whole time that this would cost him his insulin sensitivity. His new bloodwork after 13 years says otherwise: fasting glucose of 93 mg/dL and an HbA1c of 5.1%, with the glucose drawn two hours after a dose of MK-677. This short video is his explanation of why. The compound he pairs with every secretagogue, and the half of the story he says the scare headlines leave out, are the same thing.

What the video covers

One risk shared by a whole class

Tony lists the compounds he has run over 13 years: growth hormone itself, MK-677, ipamorelin, CJC-1295 with and without DAC, tesamorelin, GHRP-2, GHRP-6. They work through different receptors, but they share one net effect that the warnings are built on. Raising growth hormone tends to reduce insulin sensitivity. He does not dispute that. It is why, years ago, he designed the Slin pills formula: not just to counteract the loss, but to increase insulin sensitivity even with growth hormone elevated. The claim is testable, and the way he tests it is by drawing blood repeatedly.

What the panel says, and the caveat that strengthens it

The glucose control summary: fasting glucose 93 mg/dL, HbA1c 5.1%. Tony’s reading is that he is very insulin sensitive despite growth hormone and MK-677 use. Then the detail that most people would hide. He took 10 mg of MK-677 about two hours before the draw, which raises fasting glucose temporarily. So the 93 is a number taken with the compound active in his system, and his fasting glucose without it would be lower. The point stands either way: even with MK-677 on board, the number is in the healthy range and not elevated.

The comparison he offers is his own baseline. Before he started MK-677, his fasting glucose was 99, technically in range for the average person but, in his view, not optimal. So over 13 years on compounds that are supposed to push glucose up, his fasting glucose went down, his HbA1c, the six-month average, went down, and his insulin sensitivity went up. His attribution is the Slin pills.

“They’re only telling half the story. They’re leaving out the Slin pills. It’s very simple. I just combine it with the Slin pills.”

The half the scare stories leave out

Tony’s complaint with media coverage is not that it is wrong about the mechanism. Growth hormone and MK-677 can reduce insulin sensitivity, and that road leads to metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, and, in his view, to most of the common diseases, cancer, heart disease and autoimmunity among them, because chronically elevated blood sugar sits under so many of them. His complaint is that the coverage stops there. It presents the side effect without the mitigation, as if the only choice were the compound with its risk or nothing at all.

His labs are his argument that a third option exists. Combine the secretagogue with something that raises insulin sensitivity and, by his account, you get the benefits without the side effect and end up healthier than you would have been on nothing. That is the hypothesis he says he set out to test from the beginning, and it is what he means by “better than natural.” It is also the logic behind the Natty Plus protocol: only the compounds, and only the combinations, that deliver health, performance and longevity at the same time.

The restaurant scene

The video opens and closes in a restaurant, and the setting is the point. Tony is eating what he wants, not dieting, and holding a physique he says would normally require six perfect meals a day and two hours of training. He estimates his actual training at about ninety minutes a week. He looks around and observes that the natural people at the other tables are not lean, not fit and not defying aging, and yet they are the ones who would call what he does dangerous. His conclusion is the line he ends most videos with: natural is obsolete, because staying natural in an unnatural environment is a losing strategy, and the answer is to be unnatural in a way that is healthier than natural.

Cheat Sheet Pivot

What Tony reported from his own panel and his own routine, not instructions.

  • His numbers: fasting glucose 93 mg/dL and HbA1c 5.1%, drawn about two hours after 10 mg of MK-677, after 13 years on growth hormone secretagogues.
  • His pre-MK-677 fasting glucose was 99; both glucose and HbA1c fell over the years he has run the combination.
  • He attributes the preserved insulin sensitivity to pairing every secretagogue with Slin pills, a formula he designed for that purpose.
  • He accepts that growth hormone and MK-677 lower insulin sensitivity on their own; his argument is that the mitigation, not the abstinence, is the missing half of the story.
  • His training load is roughly ninety minutes a week, and he does not diet.

Where the evidence stops

This is one man’s panel, with no control and no study cited. The improvement from 99 to 93 spans 13 years in which many other things changed, and the video does not isolate the Slin pills from diet, training, body composition or the other compounds he runs. The claim that the 93 would be lower without MK-677 is reasonable but unmeasured. The link he draws from elevated glucose to most common diseases is his framing of a broad literature, not a specific citation. What the video does establish is narrow and real: after 13 years of growth hormone secretagogue use, his fasting glucose and HbA1c are in the healthy range, and he has published the numbers.
